They prepare coursework, assign and correct homework, and assess students through exams and essays. English Teachers also foster critical thinking and discussion by introducing students to a wide range of texts from various genres and periods. They play a significant role in preparing students for college level English and ensuring their literacy skills are refined for the professional workplace. Besides, they may also provide additional support for students who are struggling, and work collaboratively with parents and other educators to enhance students' learning experience.
