Long-Term Substitute - High School Art Teacher
Position Description: Delano High School is looking for a highly qualified candidate for a long-term substitute position as a high school art teacher. Successful candidates will demonstrate a consistent focus on reflective growth, collaborative skills, and a dedication to student achievement. The successful candidate will teach sections of 7th grade and 8th grade art as well as a few sections of video production and graphic design in grades 9-12.
Licensure: Appropriate licensure (K-12 visual arts), or the ability to obtain appropriate licensure, is preferred. If necessary, DHS will work with viable candidates to pursue a Tier I/II or out of field permission.
Start Date: The dates available are immediately upon candidate availability and through the remainder of the school year. The rate of pay for this position is pro-rated for length of the year and in accordance with the master agreement.
