Special Education Teacher Needed! (24/25 SY - Contract)

Full Time Special Education Teacher Position - near Sun City, AZ
Sunbelt is hiring a Special Education Teacher for the 24/25 current SY a school in the Sun City area. This position is onsite, and full-time M-F. Caseload and student disabilities vary.

If a good fit, position will be offered for 25/26 as well!

Job Type:

• Full Time (35-37.5 hours)
• M-F
• W-2 Contract through Sunbelt
• Caseload varies dependent upon school location, but will be provided during initial screening and/or interview

Job Qualifications:

• Current Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification
• Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints ( IVP ) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs and abilities.

• Adapt general education lessons and teach various subjects to students with mild to severe disabilities.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success and inclusion.

• Monitor student progress, assess developmental levels, and maintain accurate records and reports.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that supports emotional and academic growth.
