At Focus, we strive to help students earn their high school diploma, no matter what obstacles they are faced with. Our directors, teachers and staff work relentlessly to help students reach their goals. The Focus Family of Schools are state-funded charter schools that help teens and young adults, ages 16 - 22, earn their high school diploma while preparing for the workforce or their higher education aspirations. There are three schools conveniently located in Columbus that combine high school academics and vocational curriculum. The three schools are staffed with certified and highly qualified teachers that use online curriculum as a primary teaching tool that is complimented by core content pull out classes. This combination allows for one-on-one interaction with students both in the classroom and in a lab setting. All courses offered meet the state standards. Learning at Focus is FREE and our unique structure offers our students a choice in courses, accommodates self-paced studies and allows for students to earn a living while attending school and prepare for further education. Focus offers several programs, groups and activities in which our students can participate. With academic achievement programs, clubs, special interest groups and community activities, we truly have something for everyone.
